OUR PEOPLE - TENDER australia

Tender Funerals Australia Team

Jenny Briscoe-Hough

Chief Executive Officer

Jenny is the driving force behind Tender Funerals. She has decades of experience in community development and believes in a strengths-based approach. Jenny has a reputation for innovation and developing projects which support and empower communities to create a culture of help rather than harm. Tender Funerals is the result of a community believing that funerals should be an affordable, meaningful and ultimately as much as possible healing. Tender Funerals Australia was called into being by the many communities that reached out to have a Tender Funerals in their area and Jenny is proud to be a part of the team that is answering their call.

Samuel Clowes

Franchise Development and Compliance

Sam has experience in teaching, research and developing training packages. His passion in this field led him to volunteer at Tender Funerals Illawarra and Sydney, learning of Tender after his grandmothers passing in 2019.  Sam is energetic and enthusiastic with experience in digital media, software editing, medical administration, resource development and Administration.

The majority of Sam’s work has been in the space of death and dying, through mortuary care and operations. Sam aims through his future career path to be able to change the nature of the death care industry to a more personalised and fear-free experience for families, bringing care and compassion back to the duty of mortuary care.

Stephanie Isvik

Stephanie has over 30 years’ experience in management, organisational development and system change roles. She has a keen interest in developing systems and collaboration models in a genuinely human way while being effective and inclusive for the community, especially those experiencing social disadvantage. At Tender Funerals Australia she is particularly utilising her skills in developing internal communication (policies, guidelines, training) and external communication channels (website, media, stakeholder development).

My passion is about creating connections and supporting organisations that are creating innovative ways of re-connecting us with our community, our environment, with our own humanity – and with what connects us all.”
