On 20 June 2022, Tender Funerals was featured on ABC’s Australian Story.

Filmed over 10 months, the episode titled “A Community Undertaking” follows the experiences of people who have used Tender Funerals, “providing an extraordinarily intimate view of a process we rarely get to see.”
