About Tender Funerals Canberra Region

Tender Funerals Canberra Region is part of the Tender Funerals Australia Network.

Inspired by the original Tender Funerals in Port Kembla, a group of Canberra volunteers came together in April 2019 with the vision of starting a Tender Funerals locally. Despite the disruption caused by the pandemic, their perseverance and wonderful support from the community resulted in significant funding being raised for the project, both from individuals and organisations. 

In 2024, Tender Funerals Canberra Region opened its doors at 11 Glenbrook Lane, Fairbairn. In particular, The Snow Foundation and Capital Airport Group made this possible, with additional support from Hands Across Canberra and Community Bank Braidwood and Districts.

Tender Funerals Canberra Region supports residents of Canberra, Goulburn, Yass, Cooma, Queanbeyan, Bungendore, Braidwood and the smaller towns and villages nearby for funerals, death care advice and support and community education.
