Celebrating the life of
Belinda Jane Burgess
18 September 1957 – 09 February 2025
Belinda passed away peacefully surrounded by her family after a short illness. Belinda will be missed by Jochen, Jenny, her mother Judy, her sisters Melissa, Carolyn, Maryanne and Fiona, her stepchildren Felix and Jannis and partner Abby, their extended families and many in the Braddon small business community. Belinda loved dogs and cats, and her two Labradors Sunny and Oscar miss her so much.
Belinda has been working at her beloved shop Timber & Tailor in Braddon until last December. We would like to thank you for all of the support and lovely messages Belinda has received from the community Belinda has work in. We would also like to express our gratitude to the staff at Canberra Hospital who cared for Belinda in her final weeks with great care and compassion.
The celebration of the life of Belinda will be held at her home at in Murrumbateman on Sunday the 23rd of February, at 10am for a 10:30am start.
