Gayle Frances Ashton
Gayle, of Queanbeyan (formerly of Wagga Wagga), died peacefully surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle.
Aged 61 years.
Beloved wife of Peter and dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Liam & Theresa and Rohan & Mel.
Gayle will be sadly missed by her loving family and many dear friends.
As you took your final breath, the sun shone in as you gained your wings. Fly high Gayle.
Gayle’s funeral will be held at The Margaret Whitlam Pavilion, The Arboretum, at 12pm on Monday 27 July 2026 with a wake to be held afterwards at Queanbeyan Bowls Club. Please wear purple or a band shirt.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Huntingdon’s Australia to support families impacted by Huntingdon’s Disease.
