Tender Funerals Canberra Region is raring to go!
We have raised considerable funds towards making our site a reality. We have so much support (check out our wonderful supporters here). Our current challenge is the MAJOR hurdle of finding a suitable site. We need specific zoning requirements for our mortuary, which will allow us to provide a full scope of care for our community. Our ideal Home will enable a garden, workshop and ceremony space, however, such a site is well over our budget. Our absolute minimum requirement is a parlour-only footprint of 350m2, with a garage access. Such sites are proving to be rare. We are also finding it difficult as very few sites already have an allowance for a funeral parlour in the purpose clause, adding lease variation to our challenge.
