Friday 18 August
6pm at the Woden Library

We’re pleased to partner with Libraries ACT on this free event for National Science Week.

Despite death being one thing we all have in common, it remains a topic that many people find uncomfortable, if not downright scary. Yet there is a wonderful bounty of comfort and beauty to be found in the science and ceremony behind what happens to our marvellous bodies when we reach the end of our lives.

Join moderator Genevieve Jacobs and panel members Professor Imogen Mitchell (University of Canberra), Catherine Prosser (Tender Funerals) and Kerry McMurray (Canberra Memorial Parks) for an open, honest and intriguing discussion about dying, death and the disposal of our bodies.

The audience will also have an opportunity to ask questions of our panel.
